OOS Technologies has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and knowledgeable Training Academy Director to join our team! Our ideal candidate will demonstrate a wealth of experience in training and development, with previous experience in a management or senior role. The key focus of the position is to direct the training academy effectively in its operations, ensuring suitable and viable training is delivered in a timely manner and within budget!

You will be responsible for setting training objectives and creating procedures and budgets necessary for successfully implementing planned training programs that will align external students / new joiners and our internal staff with our business goals and strategies. 

As a Director of Training, you will strategically plan training for fresh graduates who are targeting to join the IT sphere and create a pool of young engineers that the company will be pulling resources from. You will also track and evaluate our employee training needs and develop courses to fulfill those needs. We need you to build and supervise relationships with suitable vendors to offer training programs based on the assessed requirements of the management and staff.

The ideal candidate possesses outstanding leadership skills and can successfully manage our training and development department by providing clear instruction and mentorship.

  • Design the training and development strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Plan and organize training for external fresh graduates and internal staff.
  • Advise and source on target audience.
  • Carry out performance assessments and skill gap analysis to identify training needs for all company’s teams.
  • Create a continuous learning culture by providing coaching to increase performance and staff productivity
  • Select appropriate resources, curriculums, and educators to deliver successful training
  • Analyze training feedback to determine whether the implemented course has achieved its goals
  • Evaluate the results of learning courses to improve the outcome of future training.
  • Coordinate with department managers to understand where training is lacking or needs to be improved.
  • Keep track of the training budget, ensuring sufficient funds are allocated.
  • Manage our training and development team to ensure all activities are aligned with the training and development strategy.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Training Director, Training Manager, or a related position
  • Bachelor’s degree in Training and Development, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a relevant field
  • Hands-on experience creating and implementing successful training programs in a business setting
  • Detailed knowledge of traditional and modern training techniques
  • First-hand knowledge of budget and project management
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills
  • Strong understanding of business goals and objectives
  • Ability to implement KPIs and SLAs as required.
  • Strong leadership skills
